The Spark44 Regional Marketing Manager team is an extension of the central Jaguar Land Rover European Importer Sales & Marketing organisation and the voice of the markets on all marketing related topics. Focusing primarily on strategic marketing and demand creation, the Regional Marketing Manager is an integral part of the EIRO Regional Marketing & Sales team and the dedicated point of contact for the respective sub-region (EU North, West, South & East).


  • Ongoing strategic market guidance based on JLR Global / EIRO marketing and communications strategies;
  • Regular JLR Marketing information/asset cascade to Importer organizations;
  • Support EU Importer markets across all key business planning stages, e.g.
    • annual Business Planning
    • quarterly Marketing & Sales Planning processes
    • steering Importer local marketing budget development in adherence with variable importer margin (VIM)
  • Ongoing follow-up of quarterly and annual target achievement;
  • Steering of all key planning stages for local market, and subsequent alignment of market plans and strategies with regional office;
  • Analysis of Importer specific Marketing and Demand Creation needs, and feeding local market insights into central campaign, program and asset development;
  • Foster deployment of the Global/ Regional communication/Launch strategy with local Importer market (i.e. Pan European launch activations and branding Initiatives)
  • Best practice sharing from other NSC/Importer markets
  • Provide necessary market insights and support to JLR EIRO team for Regional Launch Strategy development;
  • Support Importer markets in development of local Market Launch plans and ongoing Marketing plans (including monthly & quarterly reviews);
  • Ensure Brand compliance throughout all owned and paid touchpoints
  • Support Importers and local agency partners to ensure a consistent & integrated 360 Comms approach;
  • Utilisation of Importer market analytics & metrics data for learnings and campaign optimisation recommendations


  • Bachelor’s degree qualification in Marketing, Business Management, Strategy or similar relevant education
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in Marketing, ideally for an automotive OEM, FMCG, premium retail operation, or passenger mobility provider
  • Ideally, experience in a sales or marketing environment within B2B or B2C operations, including franchise and retail network management
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies and plans, including in cooperation with outsourced contractors;
  • Expertise in market research methodologies and tools
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in order to work confidently and effectively with other team members and the markets
  • Expert level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English – written and spoken. Other European languages preferred
  • Creative with excellent networking, persuasion and negotiating skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the relevant sub region (tbc)
